Implementing Ideas of Vice Chancellor, UPM



Serdang, 8 October 2016-asset management and Development Office, UPM is organising tree planting programmes around the UPM Serdang Campus and Bintulu. An idea from the Vice Chancellor, Prof Datin Paduka Dr. Aini Ideris will realise in which all staff and officers, PPPA will involved the same success with several academic officer and senior management of UPM participate.

Approximately 3400 students will be involved for UPM campus, while for a total of about 150 number of students will participate in the UPM Bintulu campus. These programs are broken down into a number of areas, namely, zone A, zone B, Zone C and D Zones and Zone Bintulu, Sarawak.

Coordinator of the zone that is to be divided into A Zone are represented by Tuan Haji Mohd Nizan Jaffar. Zone B in turn represented by Encik Mohd Fuad Mahmood, while Zone C was represented by Mr Zulkhairi Ibrahim and Zone D is represented by Encik Mohd Zamanu Al Ekhwan Mohtadi.

As many as 9,840 trees will be planted along this program held at UPM campus. Among the types of trees that will be planted comprised of types of Hibiscus, Variegated Bougainvilla, Eugenia Oleina, Acalypha Sismensis, Karas and tree fruits for campus Bintulu, Sarawak.

The program is based on the concept of the campus in the Garden and will be inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor, UPM.
