4 OCTOBER 2016 odour Pollution in Sungai Semenyih occurs again at 11:00 pm today (03 October 2016) at Semenyih. Pollution sources have been identified from the premises located at mile 22 1/4, Jalan sungai Lalang, Semenyih. The Department of environment, Water Governance Board and Selangor Kajang Municipal Council will take firm action on the operators. Regret to inform you that the Semenyih water treatment plant had closed the 4th time at 10 am due to the smell of pollution. Water supply will recover gradually when water treatment plant operating again.

District and neighborhood that will experience interruptions of water supply are as follows.  

The district covers, Bandar Bukit Mahkota Bangi, Kajang, Semenyih and Rinching. Kuala Langat district covers Morib, Banting, Bandar Saujana Putra, Bandar Rimbayu and Teluk Panglima Garang.

Petaling district including those who live in USJ 1 – 27, Puchong, Serdang and Seri Kembangan. Sepang district covers Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Bandar Nusa Putra, Putra Heights, Pulau Meranti, Kota Warisan, Bandar Bukit Puchong and Sg Merab.  

Emergency water assistance will be delivered by tanker truck to areas disrupted water supply. 

Users are requested to seek the latest information through smart application "mySYABAS" and www.syabas.com.my. Please SMS address of premises to 15300 for assistance emergency water supply.
